Midweek Ladies 2018 Summer Season Ends
The RTA Midweek Ladies concluded their Summer Season on Wednesday 5 December 2018. The final day of fixtures for the year was followed by Christmas lunch next door at the Rocky Sports Club.
The summer fixtures were played as one grade with 9 teams of 4 ladies each. The team with the highest average for the season of 31.3 was the Gerberas (Katrina Lynch, Megan Beaumont, Hannah Lynch, Olivia Lynch) – well done to the Lynch family and Megan! The runner-up team was the Poppies with an average of 30.0 (Robyn Priddle, Sharon Lawrence, Lisa Torrens, Allison Lawrence).
Following the Christmas break, the first social hit for 2019 will be on Wednesday 30 January at 9.00am.
The Midweek Ladies Annual meeting will be held the following week on Wednesday 6 February 2019 at 9.00 am.

Friday Night Fixtures
Program for RTA Fixtures and events for 2019
The year starts with an open day on the Monday public holiday 28th Jan 2019. Come along for a free hit from 3.00 pm.
Pre-season cups fixtures to run from Friday 8th Feb, 6:30pm for 7 weeks to late March.
This will be followed by the main ‘Winter’ season on Saturday afternoon, similar format to the winter season this year, to run for 12-15 weeks (depending on other events that we might clash with such as Champion of Champions etc.), starting the last Saturday in March and finishing late August.
A Grade: 3 person teams, 2 players play 2 sets of singles and 2 sets of doubles, the third player plays 4 sets of doubles. ITN range is 1 to 7.
B Grade: Players 1 and 2 play a set of singles and 3 sets of doubles while players 3 and 4 play 4 sets of doubles. Open to ITNs 5, 6, 7 or 8. Each team may include only one ITN 5 player and must have at least one player with an ITN 7 or 8.
